October 2026 — NOVACERO, one of South America’s leading steel producers, has selected SYSTEMS Spray-Cooled® technology for its new Electric Arc Furnace project in Ecuador, with startup planned for Summer 2027.
We are proud to announce that NOVACERO has selected SYSTEMS Spray-Cooled® technology for its new Electric Arc Furnace project in Ecuador.
NOVACERO is among the leading steel producers in South America serving the construction and industrial markets and operating its steelmaking facility with continuous charging technology.
The complete new EAF will be supplied by Sidertech S.A. with the Spray-Cooled® equipment manufactured locally in Ecuador.
The selection of Spray-Cooled® technology reflects NOVACERO’s focus on state-of-the-art safety, low maintenance, high equipment availability and maximum operational efficiency.
As SYSTEMS Spray-Cooled®’s exclusive representative in Latin America, Steel Infinity is proud to have supported the development of this project and to continue working alongside NOVACERO, SYSTEMS and Sidertech through its implementation.
Startup is planned for Summer 2027.
