Entry Level Estimator
Candidates should have a desire to work with industrial civil, piping, and mechanical projects. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field with preference given to those with degrees in construction and engineering disciplines.
Candidates should be able to:
- Work with drawings and specifications.
- Prepare take-offs and material lists.
- Travel to attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and planning meetings.
- Travel to job sites to assist in project planning, execution, and tracking.
- Identify/plan project activities and associated equipment utilization.
- Use computers and exhibit computer literacy.
- Use Excel spreadsheets and word processing software.
- Must be able to work with metric as well as U. S. Standard dimensions.
Entry Level Engineer
Candidates should have a desire to work with industrial civil, piping, and mechanical projects. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or structural engineering or equivalent field.
Candidates should be able to:
- Develop, design and detail drawings.
- Travel to attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and planning meetings.
- Use computers and exhibit computer literacy.
- Must be able to work with metric as well as U. S. Standard dimensions.
Construction Equipment & Warehouse Manager
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Plan, organize & supervise personnel responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs of major and minor construction equipment, work truck fleet and small tools.
- Identify and coordinate with 3rd party equipment repair vendors for repairs outside the technical expertise of in-house mechanics.
- Technically capable with ability to train & distribute work amongst the team.
- Must manage workshop in accordance with quality, safety & company requirements.
- Ability to handle paperwork associated with in-house reporting and documentation of preventative maintenance and repair.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies to facilitate repairs.
- Maintain inventory of construction tools, consumables and supplies to distribute to jobsites when needed.
Experience, skills, and abilities
- Ability to properly manage and prioritize resources, people and projects.
- Ability to develop and implement effective systems & procedures.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information.
- Min 2 yrs construction equipment field operations experience or maintenance experience.
- Min 2 yrs management experience.
- Computer skills a plus.
Welding Instructor
The Systems Group is looking for an individual to lead our in-house welder-training program. The individual will be responsible for evaluating the skill level of current employees then instituting a welder training program specific to each employee’s ability. The instructor will provide both classroom and lab training for each employee as necessary to advance the employee’s welding skills.
Instructor must have experience teaching the following welding processes that are used in both fabrication shop and construction site environments:
- GMAW Carbon Steel Plate & Structural
- GMAW Carbon Steel Pipe
- FCAW Carbon Steel Plate & Structural
- SMAW Carbon Steel Pipe – 6G
- TIG Carbon Steel Pipe – 6G
Instructor must have the ability to instruct students in various levels of welding, to further their careers as welders.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Prior experience teaching welding at the vocational school or technical school level is required.
- To qualify for this position, you must have at least a minimum of five (5) years current welding experience and must pass certification tests in each welding process taught.
- Associate, Bachelors, or Masters degree in related field preferred, but not required
- American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential and/or American Welding Society Certified Welding Educator (CWE) is required.
- Must be able to supervise weld training and assist in developing a weld curriculum
- Computer literate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to monitor and budgets and complete paperwork in an efficient manner
Location of employment will be in El Dorado, AR. Frequent travel to other locations will be required.
Position will be salaried at a level commensurate will skills and experience. Benefits available will be company paid health insurance, 401(k) plan, section 125 cafeteria plan, paid vacation and paid holidays.
Project Manager
Individual should have at least ten years experience in managing industrial construction or commercial projects. Individual should be capable of providing overall administrative and technical direction for one large, complex project. May direct several small and/or medium size projects through subordinate managers.
Quality Control Manager
Individual should have a four year engineering degree plus minimum eight years experience or equivalent. Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance/quality control activities. Experience with ASME and AWS codes and specifications required. Ability to supervise personnel and excellent verbal/written communication skills required. Primary job function is to plan, direct and supervise company quality control functions and activities.
Senior Estimator
Individual should have at least ten years experience in estimating process piping, equipment installation, steel erection, concrete placement and civil work for industrial or commercial projects.
Assistant Estimator/Mechanical
Individual should have at least five years experience in estimating for process piping and equipment installation on industrial or commercial projects.
