Acquires Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Certification Alongside its American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Certification
El Dorado, AR, February 13, 2014: Systems Fab & Machine, formerly American Steel Company, a division of The Systems Group, announced it has received a letter of validation from the CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) acknowledging that American Steel has been certified in Division 3 under CSA (Canadian Standard Association) Standard W47.1 “Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Steel”. American Steel has three CWB certified welders and one CWB certified welding supervisor on site. The CWB is accredited by and operates under the authority of the Standards Council of Canada as a Certification Body for the administration of CSA Standards including W47.1, W47.2, W55.3, W186, W178.1 and W48 to industries across Canada and internationally for:
- Certification of companies involved in welding
- Certification of Welding Inspection Companies
- Certification of Welding Inspectors
- Certification of Welding Electrodes
