In-House Steel Detailing and Drafting
American Steel has a full staff of Steel Detailers and Draftsmen who handle the largest part of our shop drawings in-house. When the project schedule demands, we have relationships with several subcontract detailing firms to assist with our overflow. Our reputation for detailing mirrors our reputation for fabrication – on time and error free.
Because American Steel is an AISC Certified Fabricator, all of our structural steel drawings are produced to AISC Standards using both AutoCad and our SDS/2 Steel detailing software
This same experienced staff handles the creation of our shop drawings for pipe spooling utilizing our Acorn Pipe Systems Software
All of our shop fabrication drawings for all other types of fabrication are produced in-house utilizing AutoCad. Just like our extensive list of fabrication capabilities we have the same extensive list of detailing capabilities.
