Typical Duties:

• Assist lead estimators in preparation of cost estimates through material take-offs from drawings, estimation of man hours required to perform a given scope, estimation of construction equipment required and development of preliminary project schedules.
• Attend pre-bid meetings at customer facilities (requires extensive travel domestically)
• Perform earned value analysis on projects in process to determine financial status of projects
• Perform post project analysis to collect historical data for future estimating purposes

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in one of the following: Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Proficiency in use of the following software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Project a plus.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Mathematical aptitude and analytical mind
• Must have the capacity to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications

Project Manager
Individual should have at least ten years experience in managing industrial construction or commercial projects. Individual should be capable of providing overall administrative and technical direction for one large, complex project. May direct several small and/or medium size projects through subordinate managers.

Quality Control Manager
Individual should have a four year engineering degree plus minimum eight years experience or equivalent. Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance/quality control activities. Experience with ASME and AWS codes and specifications required. Ability to supervise personnel and excellent verbal/written communication skills required. Primary job function is to plan, direct and supervise company quality control functions and activities.

Senior Estimator
Individual should have at least ten years experience in estimating process piping, equipment installation, steel erection, concrete placement and civil work for industrial or commercial projects.

Assistant Estimator/Mechanical
Individual should have at least five years experience in estimating for process piping and equipment installation on industrial or commercial projects.

Lead Piping Designer
Individual should have at least five years experience in the preparation of pipe routing drawings utilizing P & ID data, equipment data etc. Duties will include the preparation of Isometric drawings for shop and field fabrication, preparation of bills of materials for material requisition and material takeoffs for estimating department.

Field Engineer Piping
Individual should have at least five years experience in piping working as Field Engineer or Field Supervisor. Provide technical engineering information to company supervision and crafts to insure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes and specifications. Typical duties include the preparation of Isometric drawings for shop and field fabrication and preparation of bills of materials for material requisition.

Field Safety Officers
Individual should have at least three years experience in safety related to the construction industry. Must be familiar with current OSHA regulations. Prior hands on experience in the construction field a plus. Individuals should be capable of administering safety program, accident investigation and other safety duties.
